A community built by parents, for our kids.
Highday began with a handful of families who wanted to share the joys — and the load — of homeschooling. Today the HIGHDay Lions gather each week to learn together, plan together, and cheer each other on.
How our co-op works
- 24 Fridays a year
- September through April, in four terms.
- 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
- Three class periods, with lunch and free play in the middle.
- Parents teach and help
- This isn't a drop-off programme — every family takes a turn teaching a class or helping in one.
- 5 minutes north of London, Ontario
- Close enough for a easy Friday morning drive from town.
- $60 per child, per term
- Paid in cash to the treasurer. That covers supplies and the room.
- HSLDA membership
- Every member family holds a current membership.
All member families must hold a current HSLDA membership.
What we're about
Hands-on classes, shared field trips, and real friendship. Family-led and joyfully low-pressure.
How we share the load
Every family pitches in — teaching, hosting, or helping behind the scenes. Together it's light.
